The Kahtoola NANOspikes®, featured in Outside Magazine's "Winter 2019 Buyer's Guide," are designed for use on icy and snowy urban roads, streets and trails. Ideal for transitioning on and off dry pavement, the tungsten carbide spikes allow you to run or walk naturally in mixed winter conditions without affecting foot strike, gait and/or stride. Each pair of NANOspikes® includes a tote bag.

Crafted from tungsten carbide, each spike is extremely hard-wearing for pavement use without affecting foot strike, and is held in place with a lightweight aluminum anchor, while a TPU cleat that surrounds provide extra traction and shock absorption

Reinforced with durable TPU inserts to ensure longevity, each patented eyelet allows the elastomer bands to be lighter and stronger, preventing tears along the harness and at connection points

Upward-facing traction ensures NANOspikes® stay in place against shoes

Utilizing the TPU construction, a softer compound provides durability, flexibility and snow removal assistance, while a harder compound near the toes disperses force against the sole of the shoe
• Toe ball:
Highly flexible with recessed connection points, the toe ball secures foot position to the front of the shoe for added comfort, preventing the toe from pushing through the front of the elastomer harness
• Enhanced Healing tab:
Allows for easy removal and removal
• Elastomeric harness:
Low profile, extremely durable and ergonomically shaped, elastomer bands are made from TPE for a secure fit and remain stretchable down to -30°F
