As the name suggests, we wanted to create the perfect simple emergency rain jacket. We've made it completely waterproof and compact, and, as you'd expect from Castelli, we've also given it an incredible fit on the bike, but it's still roomy enough to fit on a Gabba. It has all the trappings of a performance rain jacket, with the waterproof zipper, long tail, long sleeves and cuff closures that can go over gloves, but we knew you wouldn't want to break the bank with, so the only real trade-off against our high-end offerings is breathability. We've kept the style toned down and added a bold colourway in Fiery Red so you can easily use it as a work jacket and still look great when you arrive at the office. If you're going to wear it over office attire, you might want to size up.
