The Atomic Backland FR SQS is a telescopic ski pole to accompany our Bent Chetler and Backland skis. Like its namesake ski, it was designed and developed with the help of freeskiing legend Chris Benchetler. A good freeride pole should keep you light, agile and focused on your job. It is therefore made of lightweight aluminum alloy, with a brand new ergonomic handle that does not slip and an 85 mm powder basket for better flotation. It comes with the Atomic SQS safety release system which instantly releases the strap under tension to prevent injury. It also has a handy integrated ski binding screwdriver for on-the-go adjustments and repairs. The pole has a carbide tip to protect against rocks and trees, and you can use the Power Lock to adjust it from 110cm to 130cm.
